MEET ANGELA GOLDEN

Hi, I’m Angela—the heart behind Golden Skin & Wellness. My journey began in the White Mountains, where my love for the outdoors and natural living sparked a passion for holistic health. After becoming a certified Holistic Health Coach in 2013, I spent years helping people embrace plant-based diets and healthier lifestyles. But I felt there was more I could offer, and that’s when skincare became my next adventure.

I earned my esthetics license and specialized in holistic modalities like Gua Sha, blending my love for nutrition and health with the art of skincare. I’ve dedicated years to mastering the art of bespoke botanical rituals, blending ancient wisdom with modern practices to create personalized experiences just for you. Now, I’m here to help you find your natural glow, whether through personalized treatments or by sharing the greentechniques I’ve come to love. For first time clients, this session will give us ample time to discuss your history & concerns. We will look at your current products & regimen & decide what's working & what needs to change. We will also discuss your health habits & how they may be affecting your skin. A thorough skin consultation is followed by a customized facial to bring your skin back to radiant health. An in depth home ritual tutorial completes this introduction to natural skincare.

Bespoke Botanical Facial

Each facial is intuitively customized to target exactly what your skin & energy are in need of using massage, lymphatic drainage techniques, acupressure, Gua Sha, facial cupping & gemstone tools. Every piece of the custom holistic facial is a completely nurturing experience for both mind & body.

The solution for anyone struggling with a long-term skin issue. Truly radiant skin begins within. This skin therapy session begins with holistic health coaching to identify nutrition & lifestyle changes that can benefit your skin & overall health. Following the health coaching portion, melt into a customized facial experience. Using well-honed intuition, we will combine techniques & products that are completely in tune with what your skin & energy are in need of at that time. Each session includes a follow-up email detailing ways to improve your health & skin between sessions.

For those seeking a true transformation. Gua Sha, also known as "a natural alternative to Botox" is an effective way to drastically reduce the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles & achieve a natural facelift effect. Gua Sha can retrain the fascia & muscles of the face when performed regularly in a series of sessions spaced every 7-14 days. Crow's feet, jowls, brow furrows, lip lines, under eye bags & dark circles are especially receptive to Gua Sha treatment. It also increases collagen production, boosts circulation & reduces inflammation. A viable alternative for those considering botox, fillers or surgery.

Maiden Facial

For girls around age 12-17 years old. Skin is cleansed, followed by safe & gentle extractions if needed. A custom mask is applied, followed by non-irritating finishing products. I'll bridge the gap between you & your daughter in the self-care discussion, giving her a safe place to ask any questions she may have & being her guide in her healthiest & happiest life!

Every ritual is a truly relaxing & therapeutic experience. When you arrive at the studio you'll be welcomed with a warm, relaxed energy & surrounded by flourishing plants, hand-crafted wooden furnishings, fresh flowers & a meticulously cultivated wellness & skincare shop exclusively featuring East Coast, woman-owned handmade offerings. It's warm & lush & perfectly lit from the golden sconces throughout the room. It smells herbaceous & slightly sweet, a result of the herbs, soaps, lotions & candles available to purchase.
You're offered something to drink-your choice of hot or cold, bubbles or still, teas, kombuchas, seltzers, or infused waters. You're offered a seat on a green velvet slipper chair strewn with faux furs & surrounded by tropical flora. Easy conversation follows, giving you a chance to unload anything that's been weighing on your mind. You feel relief setting in. You share how you've been feeling, what you've been eating, how you've been sleeping. Every detail helps gives us an opportunity to help you navigate your wellness journey. You're truly listened to in a way you haven't experienced before. Sometimes educated advice is offered, other times empathy & the space to give yourself grace is what's given.
Once conversation winds down, you're led into the treatment room. You find yourself in the midst of a bohemian paradise. Flourishing greenery, art on every wall & the playlist is somehow playing all of your favorite soothing songs. You're reminded to turn off your phone so your relaxation isn't interrupted, shown where you can put your clothes & jewelry & how to get onto the massage table before you're left in privacy to get comfortable.
When your practitioner gently knocks on the door a few minutes later you're laying on the most heavenly treatment table you've ever experienced-plush topped, gently heated, legs resting upon a bolster, silken soft sheets & topped with a lightly weighted blanket. You may even find yourself drifting away into a dreamlike state before your service even begins.
